CruiseCraft's new Melbourne dealer

Personal experience drives new retailer

CruiseCraft has appointed bayside dealer Fleet Marine as their new Melbourne and Victorian dealer. The Chelsea Heights retailer has an expansive, purpose-built marine showroom for the new boats.

Fleet Marine's Simon Miller says he has always loved CruiseCraft boats and, prior to his involvement in the marine industry, he owned three at different times -- two bowriders and then a Explorer 625 which he used for family boating.

"CruiseCraft design and build fantastic boats," Miller says, "They are superb for our boating conditions on Port Phillip Bay. When the opportunity arose to be the CruiseCraft dealer for Melbourne, I jumped at it. I have always maintained that with CruiseCraft, you may perhaps buy cheaper, but you will never buy a better quality boat."

Peter Benston, national sales and marketing manger for CruiseCraft, calls the appointment "a major coup".

"We are exceptionally impressed with Simon and his team," Benston says, "Their undercover showroom is one of the largest in Australia and their facilities are brand new. We could not ask for anything better in terms of comfort and presentation for prospective CruiseCraft customers."

Fleet Marine replaces the previous CruiseCraft dealer, Prestige RV of Geelong, who have retired from the marine industry to concentrate on their caravan business.

CruiseCraft is wholly family owned. For three generations they have been building boats at their Brisbane headquarters.
