CRS Yachts plans high impact display

Fairline Targa 58 Gran Turismo for Sydney Boat Show

Showing off the Fairline Targa 58 Gran Turismo at the 2010 Sydney International Boat Show, the “only truly convertible sport yacht on display”, CRS Yachts is pulling out all the stops at the Cockle Bay Marina, Darling Harbour event.

The 58 expands the Fairline range in Australia, and boasts a light and airy feel, it's "global open" feature a key design element. At the touch of a button owners can open all binds, sunroof, and even the 3 metre panoramic and aft windows.

There's also an option that can transform the deck saloon into an open air environment, with retractable side windows and a patio door that completely withdraws.

Fairline's new 58 convertible sport yacht will be on display at a specially designed exhibit at the Sydney International Boat Show, built by CRS Yachts, the exclusive dealers of Fairline and Ocean Alexander Motor Yachts.

The construction of this bold display for the Sydney International Boat Show (July 29 – August 2) will include the Fairline Pavillion, complete with an in-house coffee bar and an outdoor viewing deck to inspect the new 58 Gran Turismo.

Getting back to the boat in question, the new Fairline Targa 58 Gran Turismo incorporates contemporary design elements, making use of a fully-equipped hidden galley, integrated into a single level saloon. On the lower deck a three cabin, three ensuite layout (with a full-beam master cabin) awaits tired seafarers. An internal vacuum system and washer/dryer are also included.

With a top speed of 34 knots thanks to a pair of Volvo Penta D13 900hp shaft diesels, owners will be able to travel swiftly, while convenience features will make the journey more seamless, thanks to an electric awning that covers the entire cockpit, letterbox passerrelle, a modern tender launching system and even a unique powered boarding stairway option.

“We understand that clients want choices and we’re constantly innovating to meet their different needs. Fairline Syndication, Ocean Alexander and Boat Equity are examples of how we’re meeting their expectations,” said Mark Chapman, Sales and Marketing Director for CRS Yachts.

“Fairline Concierge is an additional service we’re officially launching at the show, which caters to clients looking for a complete home-to-boat solution,” added Chapman.

“We’re also meeting the financial needs of our clients by providing active quoting, to account for volatile currency markets and forward order incentives on new orders.  We’re being as competitive as we can and we certainly encourage people to speak with our sales executives at the show for more details,” said Mr Chapman.

All told, three new generation Fairline Motor Yachts will be on display, the Targa 58 Sport Yacht along with the Squadron 55 and the Squadron 65.

CRS Yachts also revealed that it would be adding more models to its Australian line-up later in 2010, including Fairline Targa 50 Gran Turismo Sport Yacht, the Fairline Squadron 41 Flybridge Motor Yacht and the Fairline Squadron 50. All models will be available for purchase under an incentive based forward order program.
