Crestliner is proud to announce two new dealers for the Australian market – one near the Gold Coast, the other in Tasmania — that it says will allow more boaters to see the advantages of its unique boats.
Pitched as fishing boats with a social feel, Crestliners are built in America using a unique tongue-and-groove process that creates a solid feeling hull and ride akin to a fibreglass boat, it says.
The innovation comes from over 65 years of design excellence. But while build quality has to be seen to be believed, according to Crestliner, there are also clever design features, classy storage compartments and seat arrangements that convert to usable space when fishing.
Internal rod storage is a highlight in most boats, which range from four to six metres in length. Crestliner claims to have a model for almost every application from estuary to light offshore work.
A new Crestliner 1850 Commander will hit Aussie shores in July 2012, we’re told. Meanwhile, the sleek 2150 Sportsfish SST is pictured hereabouts.
Coomera-based C Worthy Marine in South East Queensland, which already distributes Bayliner and Trophy boasts imported from the same local wholesaler, apparently saw an opportunity to have a value-based aluminium boat built to a higher standard than any other aluminium boat on the market.
Meantime, Crestliner’s reach now extends as far south as Tasmania Seadoo. “Tasmania is home to some of the toughest water any boat will ever need to perform on, so this brand there will be testament to its durability and quality,” said Todd Kay from Crestliner.
