Coursemaster Autopilots, the Sydney-based company that has been working in the industry for more than 35 years, has announced the appointment of Globe Electronics SAS as the distributor of their range of leisure and commercial autopilots across France.
Globe Electronics is well known in Europe and represents other marine electronics brands including FLIR thermal imaging cameras, Comar AIS, Suunto compasses, VDS LCD monitors and Interphase forward sonars. It offers both recreational and commercial boaters high levels of technical and service expertise.
The MD of Coursemaster Autopilots, Richard Chapman, says he is delighted at the outcome of the meetings he held last week. "The addition of our Australian-manufactured pilots fit perfectly into Globe Electronics existing portfolio of marine electronics and ensures that existing Coursemaster customers will be well supported in France," Chapman says.
The business development manger for Globe Electronics, Pierre Jean Jannin, says there will be immediate demand for the Coursemaster Autopilot range in France, particularly the CM85i autopilot which he says is ideal for the French retro-fit market.
Coursemaster Autopilots have been manufactured in Australia for more than 35 years and the company is one of the founders of the Australian International Marine Export Group.
