The new Corsair 750 Sprint MKII has just topped off Corsair’s winning streak by taking out the Port Lincoln Race Week, making it four wins from four regattas.
Sailed by Multihull Central’s Dave Renouf who is the Australian distributor for Corsair Trimarans, the Corsair 750 Sprint beat five Farriers and a Grainger to take out the top position.
Earlier this year, Renouf and his daughter won the Geelong Race Week Multihull Division again onboard the new Corsair 750 Sprint MKII against some tough competition. Renouf also took out the Lock Crowther Memorial Regatta onboard a Corsair 750 Dash along with the Australian Multihull Championships on Moreton Bay in late 2011, but this time with wife Linda on the helm.
These results highlight the performance that the one-design Corsair 750 Dash and Sprint offer, but costing just a fraction of most of their competitors in these regattas and easily transported by trailer around the country.
The Corsair 750 Sprint MKII now features new deck and pontoon design that have lifted the boat's overall performance and increased the ease of operation on the foredeck. The Sprint offers a large racing cockpit while the Dash offers more accommodation as a pocket cruiser for couples or families.
The Corsair 750 Sprint MKII costs just $78,000 including GST delivered to Australia including race sails, outboard and trailer.
The Corsair 750 Dash costs $85,000 inc GST delivered to Australia including race sails, outboard, galley, interior accommodation/cushions and trailer.
