This inaugural event for 2014 is designed specifically for fishing clubs, groups and associations and aims to support anglers and local fishing clubs across Australia by mapping local fishing waters and giving away over $20,000 in prizes to the top individual and club contributors.
Participating clubs simply need to encourage their members to record sonar logs captured through their Lowrance or Simrad multifunction displays and upload them via the innovative online Insight Genesis mapping tool. It’s as easy as registering your club, record sonar logs of your favourite fishing spots or waterways, upload your sonar logs using Insight Genesis, and then keep up to date on club and individual progress via the online leader board at www.fishingclubchallenge.lowrance.com.
The Fishing Club Challenge aims to introduce more anglers to Insight Genesis -- this online tool allows you to create personalised maps for your own sonar logs for more success on the water. Get more definition than ever before, see bottom hardness and vegetation layers, customise contours, and add personalised waypoints and tags.
