Coast to Creek Marine top Stacer dealer
Mackay dealership, Coast to Creek Marine has been awarded Stacer's Australian Dealer of the Year for 2006 at the Northern Queensland State Dealer Council dinner in AprilCoast to Creek Marine boasts a team of 14 staff and showcases approximately 35 Stacer models in their two outdoor display areas and one large indoor showroom.
Coast to Creek Marine sales manager, Simon Downes, said winning the award was an unexpected surprise.
"At the 2006 Stacer Conference we decided it would be our goal to win Stacer Australian Dealer of the Year in two to three years time, and so winning this year was unexpected but a remarkable achievement," said Downes.
"We have been trading in the marine industry for two years and are proud of what we have achieved so far.
"Winning the award acknowledges the hard work we have put in and we will now strive to take out the title for a second year running," Downes said.
Stacer national sales and marketing manager, Damien Duncan, said Coast to Creek Marine's performance in 2006 was outstanding in all areas.
"Their sales results, stockholding, premises presentation, marketing activities and promotions, including in-house boat shows and on-water days, made them a very worthy winner," said Duncan.
The 2006 national and state awards were judged on percentage growth, dollar turnover, and boat, motor and trailer package percentage.
All Stacer Awards where presented at regional Dealer Council dinners held nationally throughout April.
Other 2006 Stacer Dealer Awards were: Salesperson of the Year - Ross Tanner from Northside Marine; National Retail Finance Award - Northside Marine; Top Gun Award - Hayway Marine.
