Set against Queenstown's amazing backdrop, BRP held its annual Club event in front of over 200 press and business partners in late October, 2010.
Attendees came from all corners of the Asia Pacific region and were given the opportunity to experience BRP's diverse line-up of products across tarmac, dirt, and water.
The event marked several significant milestones for the company, with the launch of their new side-by-side model, the Can-Am Commander, as well as celebrating 10 years of direct operations in the Asia Pacific region. Attendees were also presented with an insight into BRP's plans for 2011, and some of the exciting product developments which will be implemented over the next few years.
Club BRP 2010 was the largest event in BRP's Asia Pacific history with press and business partners from countries including Japan, India, China, Malaysia, New Caledonia, Australia and New-Zealand in attendance. Signifying the strategic importance of the Asia-Pacific region, BRP's senior management team including President and CEO José Boisjoli, and GM for International Markets Chris Dawson welcomed BRP's local Press and Dealer network partners.
VIPs attending the event included Surf Life Saving General Manager, Michael Hornby, V8 Supercar Champion, Greg Murphy, New Zealand's global Fishing identity, Matt Watson and former World Rally Car driver, Michael Guest.
After hearing about BRP's aggressive commitment to continued product innovation, in spite of the recent challenges of the GFC, the highlight for the many who attended the event was the opportunity to put the latest range of BRP's high-performance powersport products through their paces. With Queenstown turning on the elements, including snowfall on Lake Wakatipu, attendees continued to enjoy the exhilaration of BRP's marine line-up testing their skills in the
crystal clear water aboard Sea-Doo personal watercraft and boats, along with Evinrude outboard powered boats. High above the cloud line atop Queenstown's surrounding mountains, all enjoyed riding the dirt trails on Can-Am ATVs and SSVs. And with the Can-Am Spyder being rideable with a regular car license, all participants were able to experience the open-air riding sensation of Roadsters through amazing, winding alpine roads.
Its no wonder Queenstown is known as the adventure capital of the world!
