The 2015 Gold Coast International Marine Expo will not only stage the world premiere unveiling of Clipper Motor Yachts' new-generation Cordova 60 Series II but Clipper said it will announce six new models in the lead-up to the Expo
There are three new Hudson Bay releases with a 43, 47 and 51 added to the range and three models across the Cordova and Explorer series with a Cordova 47 and 51, and an Explorer 46 pilothouse.
With the completion of the new generation Cordova 60, Clipper created a whole new style of layout and interior look for the brand and the company says this has inspired the interior look and feel of these six new models.
The new designs combine the practical features that the Clipper marque is known for in their semi-displacement hulls with keeled shaft drive design, walk around decks, FRP stairs to the flybridge on Cordova models and seamless single-level entertaining with new Australian influenced layouts.
One of the most unique features will be the design of owner's cabins amidships featuring island beds in the 47 and 51 sedan and flybridge models giving owners a more comfortable live-aboard experience. The new models will also have additional en-suite bathrooms boasting hotel-style, frosted glass for the showers.
These new models now feature extra large extended cockpits, three feet longer than previous models with roof overhangs covering the full span of the cockpit for shade as well as extra flybridge entertaining area. Cockpit tables and seating have been designed to maximise the cockpit area for entertaining. Large opening portholes amidships provide superb ocean views from the master suite when at anchor.
The outdoor entertaining areas are connected to the saloon by stainless-steel doors and hopper windows, which open into new internal layouts with forward facing, raised L-shaped dinettes for cruising next to the captain. The layouts can be optioned with either a side or rear galley.
The customised cruising features are complemented with contemporary styling, using more fabric finishes and European style cabinetry and fittings including horizontal grain timbers in American Walnut, Aniegre or traditional teak.
The Cordova 47 and Hudson Bay 51 will be the first to arrive here in 2016 and are currently in build.
