Clipper's new anchorage

Clipper Motor Yachts, has announced its new position as the anchor boat sales tenant within Gold Coast City Marina (GCCM).

In line with the GCCM and Clipper’s growth plans, the entire waterfront sales arm has increased and is solely dedicated to new and pre-loved vessels.

Gold Coast City Marina’s General Manager, Steve Sammes said: "We are thrilled to have the Clipper brand firmly represented within the facility, with their expansion into a prime boat sales position and the newly-renovated display office area and marina, we are looking forward to a long and pro-active working relationship. Our congratulations to Brett, Glenn and the sales team."

Located within the administration building, next to the Waterlife restaurant, Clipper is positioned front and centre as the only brokerage on the main waterfront. The existing premises have been renovated into a more refined and relaxed setting with a chic lounge area, coffee machine, beverages and room for customers to relax. The marina arm has also bee upgraded with new power poles for ease of berthing and soft edging along all sales and brokerage berths.

Being open seven days a week throughout summer, Managing Director, Brett Thurley believes it’s also the perfect spot for customers to visit and have breakfast or lunch at Waterlife restaurant and view the boats.

"Myself and our team could not be happier with the latest move forward as it allows us to stay focused on our ability at GCCM to work with the industry’s best trades and service agents to expedite warranty and commissioning, and after-market upgrades," said Thurley.

As well as taking on an additional broker and more listings, another growth opportunity has been added to Clipper’s cap, with recently becoming the exclusive Boat Equity agency in Queensland, providing its customers with more options to get out on the water.

The new system is aligned with Clipper to offer syndicated or part ownership for new and pre-owned vessels and makes bigger boat ownership available to a wider range of customers but with an ongoing affordability and flexibility in comparison to other managed syndication offerings.

Clipper will host the official opening of the new office in conjunction with the Gold Coast Marine Expo today (October 17).
