Kicking off the new and expanded Clipper cruising calendar in 2013 is Clipper's Moreton Bay April Regatta, where boat owners get to experience the anchorages of Blakesleys, Tangalooma, Calypso Bay and Kooringal.
The favourite Fraser Island Regatta in September has now been lengthened to allow more cruising time and an opportunity to travel to Lady Musgrave Island for up to 11 days.
Meantime, in the other direction, there's the newly added, week-long Clarence River Cruise in June, where gourmet restaurants and popular pubs are on the agenda while visiting Yamba, McLean, and all the way up to Grafton.
The extended cruising calendar in 2013 points to the fact that Clipper customers have become more involved in the boat-owning process than ever before, says the importers.
"As the Clipper family continues to grow we are always being asked and reminded to organise more events and regattas for our owners," Brett Thurley, managing director of Clipper Motoryachts Australia, explains.
"Andy Diehm, Melanie Smith and myself are also able to liaise with our owners and enjoy the fun while Master V skipper, Jeremy Cooper, will lead the fleet on each cruise."
"In striving to deliver a higher caliber of service and customer care to connect with Clipper owners, we found most of them wanted to do more cruising but were more confident when doing so with other boats," said Mr Thurley.
Clipper has also launched a Facebook page for owners to share photos of their boats, favourite anchorages, experiences and opinions, boat movements and questions with other owners and likeminded boaters.
