Classy Hose Clamps

The world's leading hose clamp manufacturer Norma Group has three new ranges catering for every engine need with quality and style

According to the Norma Group, today's sophisticated engines require hose clamps which not only perform a vitally important function but, in many cases, must also look good.

The Norma Group has divided the range into three distinctive groups: 'Dynamic' constant tension clamps, 'HD' heavy duty worm drive clamps, and 'Extreme' with high clamping force and wide bands.

The three ranges are made of high quality stainless steel which, when polished with a soft pad and buffing compound for enhanced appearance, retain an attractive bright sheen further complementing the look of the engine.

The 'Dynamic' program has 10 clamps ranging from 16 to 110mm and delivers high band tension coupled with an automatic re-tensioning system. This allows the clamp to maintain constant band tension making it ideally suited for intercooler and charged air duct connections, silicone and turbo hose connections, and new coolant hoses. The design greatly assists in overcoming 'hose blow-off' in performance applications.

'HD' worm drive clamps have a 16mm wide band with inbuilt hose protection. They have a high clamping force suitable for special applications where high tightening torques and contact pressures are required. The 'HD' clamps are suited for use with reinforced silicone, plastic or rubber hoses in automotive, marine and commercial vehicle applications where high vibration and stubborn leakage problems exist. Seven sizes are available in the range from 25 to 118mm.

As the name 'Extreme' indicates, this range, with clamps from 59 to 91mm and additional sizes from 19 to 330mm, delivers an extremely high clamping force using wide stainless steel banding of 18, 20, 25 and 30mm width. 'Extreme' clamps are designed for sealing pressure and suction lines with plastic and steel reinforcement or high shore hardness.
