Chris-Craft Catalina 29

Chris-Craft has entered the centre console fisher market with the Catalina 23 and is introducing a second member, the Catalina 29

The Catalina 29 drew huge crowds at the recent Sydney International Boat Show, said the company.

Chris-Craft said the Catalina 29 features all the amenities one would look for in a fishing boat. The boat's overall length of 29 feet five inches and beam of more than 10 feet allows manoeuvrability for extended fishing excursions, said the boatbuilder.

The Catalina 29's design boasts Chris-Craft's trademark deep-V hull and flared bow, while the hull is 100 per cent wood free and contains an integrated fibreglass structural liner for years of maintenance-free enjoyment.

The Catalina 29 is the largest in Chris-Craft's centre console line and it plans to expand the series - from 23 to 36 feet - with a variety of walkaround and express designs over the next three years. The next to arrive will be the Catalina 26.
