The Melbourne Boat Show will host the Australian debut of two brand new Chaparral bow riders, both of which are also appearing in the Southern Hemisphere for the first time.
The long awaited 21 H2O Surf, an entry-level wake surf boat, features all of the wake technology found in far more expensive boats.
The 21 H2O Surf produces a clean surf wave up to one metre high, via Malibu’s patented Surf Gate device and built-in ballast.
It also offers unique hull shape, Medallion surf computer and Volvo forward-facing drive. Chaparral says the 21 H2O Surf is the only legitimate surf wake boat suitable for salt or fresh water use, and it kicks off in the sub $100,000 price range.
Chaparral will also have the first of the all-new Premium SSX model range on show with the debut of the 247 SSX bow rider.
Packed with the latest technology and showcasing Chaparral’s trend-setting new designs, the 247 SSX highlights a new direction for Chaparral, we’re told.
Scott O’Hare from Chaparral Australia said: “Both of these new models are very different and they both highlight just how advanced Chaparral has become with their R&D.
“We are excited to have these brilliant new boats here in Australia for the first time, and we look forward to showing off the innovation and quality that comes with every Chaparral.
“In the world’s most competitive market, it’s hard enough making it to number one, but even harder to stay there; and that is what Chaparral have done with US market share over the last few years,” O’Hare added.
Chaparral is in its 54th year, and is represented by Aussie Boat Sales in Williamstown who also have outboard and traditional stern drive models on display.
Aussie Boat Sales and Chaparral can be found at stand number E14 at the Melbourne Boat Show (June 28 to July 1). Click here for more on the Chaparral range or call (03) 9397-6977.
