Chaparral on track

There was a big sigh of relief from the team at Chaparral Australia this week when the U.S factory confirmed the delivery of a new 327 SSX bow rider in time for the Sydney International Boat Show.

"We were a bit nervous about the timing of this one," said Chaparral Australia’s Scott O’Hare. "With all the boat show planning, keeping customers in the loop and maximizing our stand, having the 327 SSX confirmed is a big deal for us."

While this boat may be bow rider, it's a bow rider with a difference. It's big, it's powerful and it offers a genuine escape from the elements with a full cabin below.

Part performance boat, part family bowrider and part overnight cruiser, the revolutionary new 327 SSX is the first bowrider in its class to offer a full-beam cabin with overnight accommodation for two, a stand-up head complete with shower, an optional 26-inch flat-screen TV, passenger capacity of 20 plus and 60mph performance from its twin 380hp Mercruisers.

The 327 SSX won the Miami boat show's most innovative boat award in March this year and this will be the first 327 anywhere outside the U.S.

"This is the perfect day boat that turns into a great weekender," said O'Hare. "With massive storage, a large cockpit wetbar, multiple ice boxes or optional cockpit fridge, custom stereo system, fold-down sun lounge, bow and cockpit tables, and so much more.

“You can entertain all of your friends, tow your favourite water toys, take a long comfortable trip, even in big water and at the end of the day stay aboard, watch a movie and wake up for a late breakfast to do it all over again,” he added.

According to Mr O'Hare, the indicative pricing will be in the region of $240,000 depending on options.
