US boat manufacturer Chaparral is debuting five previously unseen models at this weekend's Melbourne Boat Show as part of its 50th year celebrations.
New models such as the 223 Vortex twin engine jet boat and 250 Suncoast outboard take centre stage in the 14-boat line up that's one of the biggest at the show.
The display includes a cross section of Chaparral pleasure and Robalo fishing boats to suit all budgets and activities, with the entry-level H2o range from 18 to 21 feet 'rafted up' for the first time ever in Australia.
The brand new 223 Vortex VRX is the world's first twin-engine jet boat. Chaparral's patented award-winning aerial surf platform uses the jet thrust to create a sculptured surf wake.
There is also Chaparral’s first outboard-powered boat in 25 years, the spacious 250 Suncoast with up-sized rear swim platform, which is one of the company's best sellers from the 205 line-up.
Robalo doesn’t miss out either, with a range of purpose-built fishing boats on display at this weekend's Melbourne boat show.
"This is close to our best ever line up and we are ready to do serious deals at the show," said an excited Scott O’Hare from Chaparral Australia.
"Now in their 50th year, Chaparral and Robalo hold market share in the US and the UK and offer a range of 47 ‘Saltwater Tough’ boats across both brands with a complete dealer network Australia wide," O'Hare adds.
The Melbourne Boat Show is on at The Melbourne Exhibition Centre all weekend and Monday June 15. Chaparral Australia is on display at stand number D10 just up from Entry Door 7.
