CEO Howard Glenn leaves the Boating Industry Association

The Boating Industry Association (BIA) has announced that its CEO, Howard Glenn, has left the organisation to explore new ventures and projects

Having brought together the three state Associations of NSW, SA and QLD, plus sector associations Houseboat Hirers Association (HHA) and the Charter Vessels Association (CVA), the CEO of the Boating Industry Association (BIA), Howard Glenn, has left the organisation to explore new ventures and projects.

President Alan Blake thanked the Board and Glenn for his leadership of the BIA through this important phase, to create a strong and focused Association, during a 2.5-year period where a three-year term was allocated to get the job done.

Domenic Genua, Nik Parker and Simon Hazelbrook have assumed management responsibility for the three core elements of the business: events and lifestyle marketing, member services and advocacy and finance, administration and governance.  The BIA staff that work with the management team remains the same.

The Management Team will report directly into the President who will oversee the operation in the interim.

“We are pleased that Domenic, Nik, Simon and the whole BIA team is committed to delivering on the agenda as directed by the Board," Mr Blake also said.

The 51st Sydney International Boat Show will be held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre and Darling Harbour from August 2-6 . More at the BIA.
