Campion Allante 565

In business for 22 years, Campion produces a range of fibreglass craft from 5-10m, including the Victoria luxury cruiser range, the Explorer fishing range, the Chase high performance range and the Allante sportscruiser range.

The 565 is the largest bowrider in the Allante stable, designed to appeal to watersport enthusiasts and daytrippers.

Features include seats that convert to lounge beds and a rear lounge that converts to a sunbed. Safe boarding is aided by the 565's integrated swim platform and stainless swim ladder.

The vessel has a centreline length of 5.82m and a 2.34m beam. Weighing in at 682kg, the 565 is fitted with a 4.3lt, 200hp Volvo Penta inboard/outboard as standard.

Campion hand-builds its hulls on the award-winning Advanced Pressure Expansion (APEX) Lift System that uses technology it claims actually expands the high pressure zones in a V-bottom boat.

The benefits include faster planing, less wetted surface and a more stable platform at high speeds, the company says.

Each craft is built using a rigid stringer system, fibreglassed in place using triaxial material. Each hull also has a steel reinforced mould with up to 10 extra layers of fibreglass added in the building process for extra strength and stability, Campion says.

The range of standard features includes a dry lockable glove box, a built-in icebox, drink holders and gunwale pads with storage trays. A quality stereo is also standard equipment.

The Euro-style dash has integrated wood panels and seven analog gauges displayed. The wraparound windscreen is manufactured with tempered safety glass to ensure its safety and durability, Campion says.

With an emphasis on safety in other areas as well, features include foam flotation, while the 115lt fuel tank is pressure tested, the company says.

The Allante 565 is available as a turnkey package for $36,500 from Campion Marine at Kurnell (NSW).
