Calling keen anglers for the inaugural Murray Codference
New free event in Victoria has the 'cod fathers' sharing their wisdom on Australia's greatest native fishDo you love fishing for Murray cod? Do you hold the native fish in awe and great reverence? Well then, the 2016 Murray Codference on at Shepparton, Victoria, on Sunday, December 11, is for you. What's more the new cod-bothering event is free.
As part of the Victorian State Government's Target One Million initiative to get more Vic anglers fishing and more often, the inaugural Murray Codference in Shepparton will cover everything you need and want to know about our iconic native fish.
What's more, Mother Nature has provided some timely news on the cod front. Thanks to inland winter rains, there has bee some excellent Murray cod spawning in the Murray Darling system. At the same time, fish stocking is up as part of Target One Million.
The free Codference will discuss subjects including:
