Cabo 40 Express

The latest addition to Cabo Yachts' Australian model line-up is the 40 Express

Cabo says the 40 Express has been designed to appeal to the serious sportsfisherman or the family boater who isn't prepared to compromise on quality. A hull has a top speed of 36kt and cruise speed of 30kt when powered by 700hp C-12 Caterpillar diesels.

The wide 15ft 9in beam allows for a 140sqft cockpit, fully featured with transom livewell, underfloor fish boxes, outward-opening transom door, padded coamings, and a bait-prep centre which incorporates a sink, rigging board and tackle storage.

The helm deck features an L-shaped lounge and can be raised hydraulically for access to the engine room. The master statesroom sports an island berth and rod lockers to store 10 outfits, while the main cabin settee converts to upper and lower berths.

The galley is fully equipped, featuring Corian countertops, microwave oven, two-burner hob, a fridge/freezer unit and ample storage.

The standard boat will set you back a cool $1.1 million.
