Whitewater Marine is one of the latest smart operators not afraid to try new ways to get in front of their customers with a pop-up.
The Queensland Stacer dealership recently opened a temporary showroom at the busy Pacific Fair Shopping Centre on the Gold Coast.
Located at Broadbeach, Pacific Fair has recently undergone a two-year $670 million redevelopment and can expect 11.5 million visitors each year.
Given the popularity of boating and fishing in Queensland, it comes as no surprise to find the locals have been more than willing to give their ho-hum shopping list the flick to check out all the latest cool Stacer models on show.
With a range of Stacer Boat, Motor and Trailer packages on display — ranging from small tinnies to offshore fishing boats — there is a boat suitable for a wide range of budgets and needs.
Whitewater Marine Sales Manager Clinton White said his team is excited to showcase the boating lifestyle to a wider audience. The dealer has also been offering keen prices to tempt families afloat.
"We have started up this pop up store to open up the boating lifestyle to customers who would not normally visit a marine dealership or attend a boat show.
"It also adds a different dimension to the normal shopping experience and gives those who are bored of looking at clothes and shoes a break," Clinton said.
Stacer Account Manager Cameron Wood said the pop-up shop has already generated a great deal of inquiry and is a fantastic opportunity for Whitewater Marine and Stacer.
"When visiting the pop-up shop an overwhelming amount of customers were surprised with the affordability of the Stacer range.
"This is a game changer for the marine industry... it’s exciting to spread the love of the boating lifestyle," Cameron said.
We know of a number of manufacturers has been successful at selling trailerboats to new customers through shopping-mall retailing before.
