Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show

The 2014 Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show and National 4x4 & Outdoors Show will have all entertainment bases covered with a host of special guests and activities to occupy the whole family.

To be held at the Brisbane Showgrounds from April 4-6, these two shows merge annually to create Australia's biggest boating, ffishing, 4x4, off-road, touring, and towing expo, making it the ultimate destination for outdoor enthusiasts, novices and families alike.

Special guest and host of TV's iFish programme Paul Worsteling is guaranteed to be a hit with anglers of all ages as he takes to the Fishing Expo Stage with regular talks and workshops.

Paul will also regularly drop by the Kids Marine Zone to lend a hand and teach the next generation of fishermen and women amongst us some tricks of the trade.

The always-popular Kids Marine Zone will teach youngsters the basics of fishing, including knot tying, rod casting and bait netting.

At the three salt water tanks, kids will learn how to identify different types of sea creatures including estuary fish and well as see dangerous marine life up close such as sting rays, sharks and blue bottles. Children will also be able to use their new-found skills with the chance to catch freshwater yabbies, with all participants receiving prizes and a sample bag.

Also, on the Fishing Expo Stage on the Saturday and Sunday mornings, "Spit Inyahand" and "Blue Rednut" (Jason Medcalf and Jason Ehrlich) will be taking kids on an interactive adventure that will entertain, inform and educate them about the great Australian outdoors and fishing.

Kids will also be putting the pressure on their parents to head over to the National 4x4 & Outdoors Show where the Action Arena presented by Isuzu UTE will provide all members of the family plenty of entertainment and giveaways.

Test rides will be available in ATV's and side-by-side vehicles, with Matt Schubring of Crusty Demons fame mastering the Action Arena with a series of jaw-dropping FMX tricks and stunts.

The Isuzu UTE Team D-MAX will also be wowing the crowds with their stunt driving prowess, including two-wheel action and the stomach churning Iron Summit, with the Extreme 4x4 Show and the Tassie Devil Monster Truck also tearing up the course.

The National 4x4 & Outdoors Show will also have a dedicated Entertainment Area with plenty to keep kids busy including a jumping castle and a Reptile Awareness Display.

With kids under 15 free and adults just $18, the 2014 Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show and National 4x4 & Outdoors Show is guaranteed to provide a value for money action-packed fun day out for the whole family.
