Brisbane residents have been flocking to the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show and the National 4x4 Show and Outdoors Expo since 2005 when the two shows converged to make one big super expo for individuals with a passion for allthings outdoors, said organisers.
Already event organisers are promising this year's show will be the biggest yet with the return of the traditional favourite stands along with some brand new features.
"Each year the show continues to grow and 2009 will be no different as we continue to lock in more and more exhibitors who will display the latest products for the 4WD, touring, towing and camping enthusiast," said Chris Hill from the National 4x4 Show and Outdoors Expo.
"Already 80 per cent of sites for the show are sold which is extremely strong for this time of year and the current economic climate," he said.
Jason Plant from the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show said the keen angler will be catered for with boats, fishing rods, tackle and accessories occupying numerous pavilions at Queensland's famous Showgrounds.
"The one thing about Brisbane residents is that they all love getting out onto the bay to enjoy some quality time fishing and this show really does cater for the Queensland lifestyle," said Plant.
"Not only will the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show feature the latest products but there is also a comprehensive education program which provides individuals with tips to help them land the next big catch," he said.
Organisers said the National 4x4 Show and Outdoors Expo and the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show represents great value with tickets into both shows starting at $8 for a concession or student, adults $10, while children under 15 are admitted free.
