The KT LED Trailer Plug is designed to deliver safer boat towing for usersThis Australian invention consists of a trailer plug with an in-built LED circuit tester, which is designed to detect errors in electric brakes, the auxiliary (emergency) break away system, indicators, park lights and brakes.
“It features a revolutionary three-step wiring body for quick and simple installation, with each wire being colour-coded to industry standards to eliminate error when wiring up,” KT Cables’ Cher Thomas said.
The KT LED Trailer Plug allows for an accurate visual check via six illuminated LEDs, which light up to indicate whether or not enough power is being supplied through each correct circuit and that the power from the source is active through the trailer plug. Quintrex and Mackay Multi-Link Trailers have incorporated the LED Trailer Plug on many of its trailers since its launch.
