Brig has released its first new range for six years, the Navigator.
The Navigator is a development of the Falcon range, one of Brig’s most popular models worldwide.
The Navigator has a distinctly masculine look, finished in a rich black, although there is the option of having one in brilliant white. The Navigator offers handy storage lockers incorporated into the seating, and there’s also rear locker seating with a backrest. Add to that an electric horn, an offset console plus many more clever inclusions, all topped off with a stainless steel Targa arch.
The Navigator range will comprise three models, the 530, 570 and 610 denoting their length in metres. Taking the 570 model, as the name suggests it is 5.7 metres long, has a beam of 2.3 metres, five air chambers for buoyancy and can carry 10 passengers with a maximum load of 1200kg.
You can fit a 120 horsepower engine on the back for fast response and the inbuilt 98-litre fuel tank keeps those horses well fed. Yet weighing just 380 kg, it can be easily towed by a small family car.
Brig tells us that all these top features don’t come with a top-shelf price tag as the Navigator models sit in-between the Brig Eagle and Falcon ranges.
While the Brig Navigators have only just been launched at the Southampton Boat Show in the UK, we won’t have to wait too long to get our hands on one. The first shipment is set to touch down in Australia in October, just in time for summer and we understand that there are already several firm orders.
