Windcraft is set for a big year with the launch of the Moody 54, Dehler 46 and the Huge Hanse flagship, the 675.
Windracft’s Peter Hrones says that he helped design the new Moody 54 and that one of the three boats that he’s ordered is his own.
The Moody 54 Deck Saloon is an "innovative fusion of the 45 DS and flagship 62 DS," says Hrones.
Design team Judel Vrolijk and Bill Dixon and Peter Hrones have bridged the gap of the deck saloons offering luxury living and performance sailing into a stunning 54 footer.
The success of the Judel Vrolijk yachts on the race course and Bill Dixon’s super yacht custom design experience make the 54 DS a comfortable cruiser for sailing around the world.
Even if you’re short on crew, the design is for easy sailing.
Moody’s trademark twin helm positions, the self tacking head sail integrated into deck, electronic engine control at starboard helm station and two electric winches in cockpit make it all possible.
Another Hanse Group release at Dueseldorf Boat Showwas the Dehler 46 -- the new big sister to the popular Dehler 38.
Windcraft says the 46 is a cool mixture of art deco meets modernism. The creative design from Judel/Vrolijk showcases the next generation of Dehler yachts perfectly.
According to Team Windcraft’s John Cowpe: "The new Dehler 46 looks set to follow the incredible success of the Dehler 38 – both boats exude style, performance and quality. One of the key features is the ability of Dehler yachts to easily transform from a regatta racer to a fast family cruiser or somewhere in between."
"The 46 is ideal for the Australasian market where quality, strength and performance are top of the wish list for our sailors,” Cowpe added.
Hanse’s new flagship is the big 675 and Windcraft says that this boat will set new standards in the 67-foot class.
With similar styling to the successful 575 and with 30 per cent more interior space than the previous model, Windcraft says that this yacht is destined to be another massive win for Hanse.
The sleek, stylish deck offers safety and easy sailing with all lines leading aft to the twin helm positions.
The loft style interior is light, spacious and airy thanks to an unprecedented number of portholes, windows and skylights. There’s also a fabulous galley with fridge drawers, dishwasher, ice-maker, microwave and espresso maker.
For relaxing, there is a dedicated sun-baking space on the foredeck and a large opening bathing platform for easy access after swimming.
The 675 also boasts a big dinghy garage designed for 3.2m jet tender with docking system.
The first of these behemoths is due to be completed in early 2015.
