Windcraft says that 2013 has been a massive year of expansion for the group. The group which incorporates Team Windcraft, Yoti and eyachts has enjoyed a year of unprecedented growth and sales.
January 2013 saw the opening of a second Pittwater office at Church Point for eyachts and Yoti. Eyachts has continued to grow thanks to the high demand for the Greenline Hybrid and top-end luxury yachts like Buizen and Solaris. It's also clear that Team Windcraft owners really appreciate having a specialist brokerage on Pittwater and Sydney Harbour.
In June the Group opened the new Team Windcraft office in Auckland. Over the past 10 years the Group has achieved good market share in New Zealand with 60 Hanse and Moody yachts now sailing the Islands’ shores. When long standing partner Tony Newmarch retired, the Windcraft Group felt it was the right time to open a dedicated office to support existing owners and offer the complete range of Windcraft Group products and services to New Zealand.
New Zealand brand manager Dominic Lowe brings 20 years of experience in the boating industry to the team and following huge success already, the New Zealand operation is moving to a new larger office in March.
In October, the Windcraft Group’s Melbourne section moved to a new dedicated office in the Royal Brighton Yacht Club. Nick Jones (who has nearly 10 years experience with the Windcraft Group) is the Melbourne branch manager.
MD Peter Hrones said that 2014 is shaping up to be another exciting year for the Windcraft Group with SIBS seeing the debuts of the Solaris ONE 42, Greenline 48 and the Moody 54 Deck Saloon.
"We also have some exciting new designs in the pipeline. There are some new bigger and smaller Hanse yachts on the way as well as a new bigger Dehler following the huge success of the Dehler 38 this year," he added.
