Big prizes at Melbourne Show

RIB and kayak prizes up for grabs at the Melbourne Boat Show

Patrons at next month's Melbourne Boat Show will have a chance to win a Whittley inflatable RIB and motor valued at more than $4500.

Two Hobie Lanai kayaks, each valued at $1000, are also being given away to lucky show goers, for a combined prize pool worth more than $7500rpm.

The major prize is a Whittley inflatable RIB with a fibreglass floor powered by a Yamaha 5 CMHS outboard. With room for three adults and a child, the RIB comes complete with oars, foot pump and repair kit.

The Hobie Lanai is a lightweight 2.7 metre craft that is manageable by children but large enough to accommodate an adult paddler. The cockpit features storage and a built-in beverage holder should paddlers get thirsty on longer journeys.

Entry for the comps is as simple as filling in a coupon and dropping it in the entry barrel at the Melbourne Boat Show, which begins on July 2.

A prize will be drawn each day and the Whittley-Yamaha draw will be held on the final day of the show, which is Monday, July 6.
