Beneteau has teased two new “Project E” motor yachts, a pair of long and highly luxurious passagemakers that officially will join its product line-up as early as 2021.
Unveiled at Boot Dusseldorf, Germany’s biggest boat show, one of the new as-yet unnamed plumb-nosed motor yachts will measure 18.95 metres long with a capacity for up to eight people – and boasting one of the largest flybridges on the market – while the other will stretch 22.28 metres and is designed for eight people and up to four crew.
Range is tipped to be up to 900 nautical miles.

“These new boats have a distinctive displacement hull, developed by MICAD with the aim of improving their cruising range and efficiency, making it easier for owners to cast off on long-distance cruises,” Beneteau said at the new models’ reveal.
“These two yachts … are the result of Beneteau’s collaboration with [naval architects] Massimo Gino (Nauta Design) and Amedeo Migali (MICAD), and capitalise on the highly successful Swift Trawler range of practical, spacious boats with a considerable cruising range,” it said.
Beneteau said the Nauta Design interiors of the new boats would feature “satin wax-finished wood, leather and elegant textiles” to make for “a stylish interior and exterior”.
“Strikingly spacious inside, with volumes similar to much bigger yachts, and ingeniously designed, these large passagemakers also have enough space to comfortably house a crew.”

Beneteau said the boats’ interiors were designed to be “spacious and well-appointed”.
“The galley can be completely enclosed,” it said. “The VIP guest cabin in the bow has
a considerable amount of headroom so that you feel like you are in a hotel suite.”
The boat-maker has not announced where or when the new boats will make their debut next year.
