Beneteau goes carbon

New Carbon Edition of Beneteau's successful First Series launched. See the video

Not wishing to rest on its laurels with the success of the First 40 in races all over the world, Beneteau has recently launched the Carbon Edition of the First 30, 35 and 40.

The Carbon Edition offers a carbon mast, a deep lead performance keel, and a retractable prodder to make it easier to set asymmetric kites.

In addition, the Carbon Edition will offer Beneteau's unique 'rocking wheel' which negates the need for a second helm station as the black composite wheel 'rocks' from side to side during tacks and gybes. This not only saves the extra helm station but frees up space for crew to work or people to relax when cruising.

The new First Carbon Edition yachts will be delivered ready to race with an advanced electronics package from Raymarine.
