With its large windows and opening translucent roof, the wheelhouse provides a panoramic view of the entire horizon, said Beneteau, while above deck the Antares 8 offers an equally generous cockpit.
The Antarès 8 is a true cruising launch and is the first model in the range to offer a large wheelhouse living area, said Beneteau.
The modular saloon, said the company, can be converted into a large berth or a co-pilot bench, while the helm station with co-pilot bench allows three persons to follow the course in comfort.
The galley to starboard is located opposite the saloon and is fitted with a two-burner fixed hob, stainless steel sink, mixer tap, and front opening 42lt fridge. Beneteau said that all this large living space, protected by the wheelhouse, looks out over the sea.
Down below, a spacious head compartment together with a separate owner's cabin complete this accommodation designed for cruising with four persons on board, said the boatbuilder.
Whether for fishing parties or comfortable cruising, Beneteau said the Antarès 8 satisfies with: an uncluttered cockpit, fishing equipment, cockpit saloon that converts to a sunbathing area, and bathing platform.
The new generation semi-planing hull with deep vee delivers comfort, performance, pleasure, and safety, said the boatbuilder.
The Antares 8 is powered by a Nanni T4 200hp diesel engine with direct-shaft drive and a four-blade propeller.
Specifications include: a length overall of 8.36m (with swim platform); beam of 2.95m; draft of 0.68m; fuel tank capacity of 300lt; water tank capacity of 100lt; and a maximum engine power of 147Kw (200hp).
