Beneteau has announced that it will be collaborating with Italian designers Nuvolari & Lenard to bring the new Monte Carlo range to the sub-60ft flybridge market.
Beneteau said its own design office will be responsible for the hulls and that Nuvolari & Lenard will lend their unique talent to the style, as well as the interior layout.
In 2008, the Beneteau Group, gambled on combining these two 'centres of excellence' by creating Monte Carlo Yachts, the top of the group's range, which produces Motor Yachts over 20 metres in its futuristic Italian boat yards in Trieste.
The MC5, the first model of the Monte Carlo range, will be launched at the Düsseldorf Boat Show in January 2013.
"We wanted to send out an instantly understandable signal," said Carla Demaria, General Manager of the Beneteau brand and President of MCY.
"We like to work with the Beneteau Group," said Italian designer Dan Lenard.
"The Monte Carlo line will strengthen Beneteau's position in the motor boat market," concluded Demaria. "And it will create a natural pool of future potential Monte Carlo Yacht buyers, by guaranteeing the benefits of the Group as a whole."
