According to the factory, Capri hulls feature Bayliner's Advanced Planing System (APS), which directs water flow through a matrix of strakes and channels on the underside of the hull, to create lift, thus reducing drag and fuel consumption, it says.
An oversized Delta Step Pad at the keel moves the centre of lift well aft, the company says, to reduce bow rise when underway.
The 2352 Capri measures 7.27m with a 2.54m beam. The large trailerable craft is designed as a sporty performance-orientated dayboat, with the added convenience of a lockable forward cabin with a large V-berth for overnight outings.
The cabin features a removable dinette for meals on the go and is ventilated with an overhead hatch. The double berth has stowage underneath and on shelves and hull sides. A portable toilet is also fitted.
Above deck, the helm is fitted with instrument gauges, depth sounder, digital compass and accessory outlets, all set against a woodgrain dash panel.
The helm area is protected by a tempered glass wraparound windscreen with an opening centre section leading to the bow.
An integrated transom platform features retractable ladder and grabrails.
Accommodation is provided for driver and passenger in bucket-style seating. In addition, dual observer-style seats are located to port and starboard. These convert to create twin sunlounges. At the transom is a full-width bench seat with storage below. Additional storage is provided in side panels with padded stowage shelves and vented below-floor compartments.
With its roomy cockpit, ample seating and overnighting credentials, the 2352 Capri is designated as an true all-rounder.
