Bavaria develops new Cruiser 45

Bavaria's new Cruiser 45 to launch at Dusseldorf Boat Show next year

The third model of a new series of yachts designed in conjunction with Farr Yacht Design and BMW DesignworksUSA is under development by Bavaria Yachts, and scheduled to launch at the Dusseldorf Boat Show, January 23 - 31, 2010.

The new model will offer modern design and high performance, and will slot in between the recently launched Cruiser 55 and the Cruiser 32.

Featuring twin rudders, a huge fold-down swimming platform, a large cockpit and the option of a self-tacking jib or gennaker, the Cruiser 45 is sure to be a hit with families.

With 2.06m of headroom in the saloon and the option of three or four cabin layouts, the Cruiser 45 will offer amazing interior space for a 25-foot yacht.

Bavaria is taking orders for the yacht for 2010 delivery and already has one confirmed sale.

The introductory price for the vessel is $411,159 but the price is expected to increase by 3 or 4 per cent when in full production.

North South Yachting hopes to have the Bavaria Cruiser 45 on display at the 2010 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show.
