Bavaria appoints new local distributor

German yacht and powerboat builder, Bavaria, has announced that newly formed company Bavaria Australia has been appointed importer and distributor of the Bavaria brand Australia-wide.

Already importers for the Bavaria range of powerboats, Bavaria Australia directors Ralph Hogg (left in photo) and Andy Howden are excited to be involved in yachts once again.

Ralph Hogg, the original founder of North South Yachting, which imported Bavaria yachts before he sold the business back in 2004, says he is extremely happy to be back in the seat after eight years away from sailing.

Andy Howden, who worked briefly with Bavaria yachts, has focused on the Bavaria powerboats in recent years.

“It is an exciting time for us with Bavaria launching its new Vision and B1 yachts and the innovative flybridge powerboat recently,” Mr Howden said.

Bavaria Sail Australia says existing Bavaria clients can rest assured there will be ongoing service and support, with news of a new Customer Service Centre soon to be released.
