In addition to the Sport 450 Open, Hard Top and Soft Tops, for the first time a Coupe version is being built as the largest motor yacht from Bavaria.
"With the wealth of experience of the Bavaria development teams, we were able to work out the best of all ideas and solutions for a motor yacht of this size," explained Norbert Leifeld who joined the team as a product manager to develop the new Sport 450.
Marco Casali and his team at Italian design agency Too Design are responsible for the styling.
The modern, stylish and functional interior was designed by the team at Bavaria in collaboration with interior designers at Design Unlimited.
The helm features a logical layout of the instruments and controls, we’re told, plus comfortable seating with a 360-degree view of the entire boat. Aft of the helm is a wet bar, which can be upgraded with a grill, a freezer and refrigerator.
On the port side, everything is designed for relaxation. In addition to the comfortable passenger seating, the sunbathing area is in the right place for a perfect view when traveling or at rest.
A cockpit table provides seating for eight to ten family and friends for dinner.
Under the lounge area is a dinghy garage or storage space for water toys, dive equipment, folding bikes, and more.
The Sport 450 will be available in two-cabin or three-cabin configurations with the master cabin in the bow the same in both versions. It offers a king size bed, ensuite bathroom and separate shower. The VIP cabin also gets an ensuite with separate shower.
In standard form, the Sport 450 will be powered by a pair of Volvo Penta D6-370s giving 740hp. If you want a little more power, the D6-400s are an option as are IPS-600s with 870hp total. All IPS systems and Z-drives are also available with joystick docking systems.
Meantime, Bavaria has just released the first video of its new Sport 400.
