Bavaria announces new distributor
Ensign Shipbrokers and BMB to import and distribute Bavaria yachtsGerman yacht and powerboat manufacturer Bavaria Yachtbau has announced that BMB and Ensign shipbrokers (Sydney) have been appointed importers and distributors of Bavaria yachts in Australia.
BMB is already the importer of Bavaria’s range motorboats in Australia and principals Ralph Hogg and Andy Howden have many years experience with the brand.
Commenting on the appointment, Bavaria’s Sales Director for Australia, Domenico La Marte , said: “Ralph Hogg is well known to many Bavaria sailing boat owners having built the brand in Australia in the late-1990s to mid-2000s,”
Andy Howden of BMB Powerboats and Ensign Shipbrokers (Sydney) has over 15 years experience in the boating industry and sits on the committee of BIA Marine Brokers Association.
Mr La Marte went on to say that the appointment comes at an important time for Bavaria: "We have recently launched the first boats of two new ranges -- the new Vision 46 sailing boat, and the first of a new innovative mid-size flybridge range -- the Virtess 420.
