From the sprawling factory in Giebelstadt, Germany, to picturesque Pittwater, Sydney, comes the latest Bavaria motorboat to grace our shores. The 35HT, the first of the new hardtop range in the country, was unloaded from the truck before undergoing the final pre-delivery checks, launching and handover this week.
"The sparkling, brand-new Bavaria 35HT has exceeded our expectations and those of the owner," says Jenni Dickson, the National Co-ordinator for Bavaria Australia. “The stunning boat is set to light the Aussie market on fire.”
The 35HT a high-volume, two-cabin sportscruiser, with an island berth in the bow and twin single transverse berths in the mid cabin that can be converted into a second double. Power on this first 35HT comes in the form of twin Volvo Penta D3 220hp diesels with sterndrives.
Compared with the 34 it supplants, the new 35HT has more glazing and, thus, more light and ventilation below decks. There’s been a significant styling lift, with new Euro flair to more than match the French-made sportscruiser competition.
Bavaria Australia is also commissioning a 33 Cruiser yacht for a new owner this week and, we hear, there's more good news in the pipeline. See your local Bavaria dealer and check our sites for the first test of the 35HT.
