The developers of the new Batemans Bay Marina on the NSW South Coast have announced they will host an open day and boat show on this coming November 8 to celebrate the completion of the revitalised Walcon marina facility.
“The Marina is pleased to stage the inaugural Batemans Bay Boat Show, an event we hope to build upon in years to come to be the premier marine and boating event on the South Coast,” says David Reay, General Manager of Batemans Bay Marina and Port Macquarie Marina.
The show will cater for power and sail boats ranging from 10ft-60ft, trailerable and fixed keel. There will also be kayaks, canoes, jet ski and accessories.
Confirmed exhibitors include Aussie Boat Sales (Regal, Chris Craft, Karnic, Sea Craft and Honda Marine), Caribbean game boats, Boating Syndication Australia (Riviera), Dockpro Sea Pens, Batemans Bay Power & Sail Marine Supplies, Compleat Angler, Airstream Australia, Walcon and Ray White Marine.
The boat show will be free with kid’s entertainment throughout the day between 9:00am – 5pm. There will also be presentations and demonstrations from Emergency Services including the SES, Marine Rescue & RMS NSW.
There is limited car parking onsite at the marina and visitors are encouraged to park on either Beach Road or the adjoining public car park precinct between the marina and Vietnam Memorial. There will be a variety of food stalls, fresh produce, and good old-fashion snags on the barbie.
The boat show coincides with the limited release of 20-year long-term lease berths marketed by Ray White Marine Sydney. The berths range from 12m-18m and start at $94,800 inc GST. The South Coast Caravan and Camping Expo runs over the same weekend of November 8-9.
