Bar Crusher's new graphics

Facelift for 2011 models

Fishing boats were once as drab as garbage scows because anglers cared little about the look but more about the function of their vessels.

Today the function is still uppermost in most boaties' minds but many see no reason why a fishing boat can't be as head-turning as the flashest ski boat.

To service that new market, Bar Crusher, the builders of some of the toughest fishing boats in the country, have unveiled a fresh and edgy range of new graphics for its 2011 models. Now form and function can go hand in hand.

"People considering purchasing a Bar Crusher already know they will get a boat that incorporates innovative engineering, superior design and performance but we also like to offer boats that have the 'wow' factor in look and style," Bar Crusher director Peter Cleland says.

"We know we've got it right when we hear prospective customers say: 'Check out that Bar Crusher, I want one of those'. As an iconic brand in our segment and a boat people aspire to own, we need to continue to turn heads and the new style looks fantastic."

Cleland says that while the company has always offered an extensive range of quality hull colours, the new graphics will further enhance the exclusive, premium feel of a Bar Crusher boat.

The new-look Bar Crushers will be in dealers' showrooms soon and will be displayed throughout the 2011 national boat show circuit.
