Bar Crusher adds side-mount seat option to cuddy, hardtop models

New side-mount seat option makes room for iceboxes, tackle boxes on select Bar Crusher models

Alloy plate brand Bar Crusher has added the option of side-mounted bolster seats to its cuddy and hardtop models that include slide-out iceboxes and storage space for tackle kits.

The new suspended seating option, available for both the skipper and passenger sides on new-build boats, is made from 32mm alloy. The design has side shelves that can accommodate up to three tackle storage boxes, while a 90-litre icebox mounted on a slide fits in below it.

The icebox is designed with a split lid so it can be opened while stowed under the side mount’s frame. The design allows the icebox to be used as an extra seat, while the slide allows the icebox to push forward into the cuddy to maximise room in the cockpit.

A strap is used to secure the icebox while underway.

Bar Crusher said the new seating option “fitted as standard with a range of features many other boat brands charge as extras” applied to all cuddy cabin (C Series) and hardtop (HT Series) models from the entry-level 575 to the range-topping 780.

Bar Crusher has also flagged on social media that it is making changes to its 615WR folding T-top model, updating it with a new roof and other features it is yet to reveal.
