Following in the wake of the Pirelli J33 Azimut Special Edition tender, Azimut Yachts and rigid inflatable boats specialist Tecnorib have once again teamed up to produce another jet-powered high-end tender – the Pirelli J39 Azimut Special Edition.
Azimut has provided a sneak peek of the craft by releasing these design renderings, ahead of the RIB's official debut at Italy's Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous, to be held in Viareggio, west of Florence, this week.
Available in two schemes, Burgundy Charm or Grey Elegance, the 3.9m-long craft will serve owners of the Azimut 72 Fly and Azimut 77S.
The RIB will be finishing in gel-coat, colour and coating combinations that maintain strong visual ties with the Azimut Yachts line-up, and will come with features including a removable steering wheel, telescopic oar, collapsible windshield, Azimut cushions and a sophisticated control panel.
Performance comes courtesy of a Textron 100hp hydro-jet engine, with a 120hp model available as a factory option.
The model weighs 370kg and can accommodate five people.
Tecnorib is the official licensee of Pirelli-branded RIBS, a collaboration that has produced a variety of stylish craft including the Pirelli PZero 1400 Sport.
