Azimut Magellano 43 -- Just Launched
New Italian mid-sized, long-range motoryacht from Azimut.Following the successful launch of the innovative 74, and the commercial success of the 50, the new 43 is the latest addition to the Magellano collection.
Italian boat builder Azimut says its 13 metre hull contains all of the features for which the modern Magellano boats has been praised: smooth ride in all conditions, excellent cruising range in a modern boat, and a fresh Italian take on the traditional trawler.
With two versions available, a flybridge and hard top, the Magellano 43 is said to be versatile for both long-range ocean cruising and calm-water pleasure boating.
The flybridge version will be in display at the coming Cannes Boat Show (Sept 11-16), while the Hard Top version, together with the full Magellano range, will be launched at Genoa Boat Show (Oct 6-14).
Powered by either a pair of Cummins QSB 305hp or 355hp engines, the Magellano 43 will be capable of a maximum speed of 18-22 knots and a comfortable cruise of 14-18 knots. Fuel capacity is quoted at 1,800 litres.
Inside, owners can have a choice of either two or three cabins with berths for four or five depending on layout.
