Axopar 37 launches in Sydney

Finnish flyers taking the world by storm with a RIB-like ride coupled with luxury amenities

A Finnish boatbuilder considered the fastest
growing boat brand in Europe, Axopar has a new 37 Aft Cabin and now Sun Top
model available in Australia.

The
proven lightweight, fun, fuel-efficient and exhilarating boats
are aimed at luxury day-boaters, commuters with waterfront homes, and yachtsmen looking for a hot chase boat.

The slippery,
narrow-entry, twin-stepped hull of the 37s, with a low centre of gravity, gives
high-speed performance. You will see up to 50 knots with the twin Mercury Verado
350 XL engine package. With a 730lt fuel supply, cruising range is said
to be in the region of 300nm at a speedy 30-35 knots.

Making its debut at the E Yachts and Windcraft
stand at the 2016 the Sydney International Boat Show, the Axopar 37s certainly command attention with their über-cool looks,
promise of hot performance, and outboard-powered practicality
and value.

The Axopar 37s have loads of
seating for two families, a double berth in a forward cabin with head (second optional aft berth),
integrated internal storage, cupboards and fore and aft lifestyle areas.
The boats on show looked great with metallic silver hulls and sharp lines.

The latest Sun Top we explored boasted three fridges and an impressive
central lunch setting with cool concertina canopy. The optional 'Kitchen' and Wet Bar packages allow owners to spend
more time entertaining friends and family, and in greater comfort for
longer periods of time, while the accommodation introduces overnighting to the equation.

Commenting on the
new Axopar 37, Chief Executive Officer, Sakari Mattila, said: "Barely
two years ago Axopar Boats burst onto the international scene offering
five models based upon the same 28ft hull.

"Now the new 37ft
will extend the cruising capability and is perfect for more adventurous
owners who fancy high-speed island hopping and more comfortable
overnight trips or extended cruising in a diverse range of sea states."

Evidently, the dashing new performance boats with a luxury ride and fitout are resonating in Australia with boaters tired of the same-old, same old. Importer eyachts says buyers are jumping aboard.
