Award-winning SOS dan buoy
No assembly required, just chuck it over and save a lifeThe affordable SOS Dan buoy and SOS 2 Person Life raft are compact and portable man-overboard rescue systems described “light and easy” to throw in an emergency.
SOS Marine identified the need to improve equipment capabilities for those people who spend 99 per cent of their boating time within sight of land. The good news is that there is no assembly required with either rescue product.
The multiaward winning SOS Dan Buoy rescue system is ready to deploy at any time. Just pick up and throw towards the person overboard and it auto-inflates. It weighs only 4kg and meets the Yachting Australia rules attached to the lifebuoy.
The SOS Dan Buoy has won several prestigious awards including the NSW Engineering Excellence Award for Welfare, Health & Safety.
Meantime, the SOS 2 Person Life Raft, weighing just 7.5 kilos, offers coastal boaters travelling alone or with another person an easier system to use. Existing 4 plus person rafts are heavy and cumbersome for a couple to move into position. The raft has optional emergency aids and a canopy. It is easier to maintain with reduced servicing costs.
The ease-of-use of these compact ready-to-go rescue systems is suitable for all size boats, says SOS Marine.
