Australia’s largest superyacht charter fleet

Charter company Northrop & Johnson Australia collated the largest superyacht fleet under charter management in Australia, with three new vessels joining its stellar line-up.

The Gold Coast-based company recently welcomed luxury yachts Flying Fish, Alani and Lady Pamela to the fold, boosting its growing fleet of luxurious charter options to 12 superyachts.

Northrop & Johnson Australia managing director Cameron Bray said the new arrivals offered even more luxury and greater diversity to prospective charterers.

"It increases our capacity to service the superyacht charter market and elevates Australia’s status as a serious player on the global scene," he said

"This also benefits the wider industry by offering more opportunities for crews, marinas, suppliers, and maintenance and repair facilities."

Available for charter in the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef, the 108-foot Flying Fish is the largest of the three new vessels.

Decked out in polished mahogany and Versace soft furnishings, Flying Fish has three decks, four spacious staterooms, a helipad and a well-equipped toy chest.

Guests can enjoy fishing, diving and marine exploration from her state-of-the-art tender, capable of reaching 31 knots, while a collaboration with Nautilus Aviation means guests on Flying Fish can explore the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef from above.

Also for charter in the breathtaking Whitsunday archipelago is the Alani, an 83-foot Sunseeker that can accommodate up to eight guests in four air conditioned and en-suited staterooms.

Guests can relax and dine in Alani’s spacious salon on the upper deck or enjoy alfresco dining on the flybridge, with all meals prepared by the yacht’s five-star chef.

A hydraulic swim platform allows easy access for swimming and snorkelling while a variety of inflatable water toys and a Williams tender are on hand for on-sea activities.

Rounding out the new trio of motor yachts is the 100-foot Lady Pamela, offering Italian-styled opulence for up to eight guests as they cruise and explore the stunning Whitsunday Passage.

Created by renowned Italian shipbuilder Benetti-Azimut, Lady Pamela has four staterooms including two full-beam double cabins, each with an en suite, and an entertainer’s dream of a flybridge with alfresco dining, sun lounges, barbecue area and jacuzzi.

The new additions join a well-established and internationally recognised fleet of luxury motor yachts, including the 120-foot luxury superyacht Sahana, recently relaunched 115-foot Spirit, and one of Australia’s best known superyachts, Dreamtime.

The recent growth and success for Northrop & Johnson Australia comes 12 months after the merger of global operator Northrop & Johnson and Gold Coast-based Bray Management.
