The ArrowCat 30 will make her Australian debut at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS).
ArrowCatMarine said the boat is capable of speeds of 42kts with twin 175hp outboards, and with accommodation for up to six berths, a large dinette, and a private head and shower, the vessel redefines performance and cruising layout among 30-foot powercats.
The ArrowCat 30 will be displayed at Dock A at SCIBS.
The manufacturer said the ArrowCat 30 is constructed with extensive use of an Airex foam core, and with precisely hand-laminated biaxial and unidirectional fibreglass. This, said ArrowCatmarine, allows the boat to offer the construction quality never before accessible in a 30ft production boat.
The boatbuilder said the powercat is assembled by an experienced international team of highly skilled oatbuilders in a modern facility in China, and is ABYC compliant and uses world-best components and materials from suppliers in Australia, NZ, USA and Europe.
The ArrowCat 30 has a spacious interior design with almost 360º visibility in the saloon and amidships helm, said the manufacturer, with an elegant and practical galley featuring a custom-moulded acrylic countertop and sink in a solid cherrywood cabinet.
ArrowCatMarine said for overnight cruising, the ArrowCat 30 has a master stateroom, two adult-sized mid-berths, plus a saloon dinette conversion for an additional double berth. A head and shower compartment has the comforts of home, and the roomy aft cockpit and swim platform invite activities from fishing to snorkeling and scuba diving, said the manufacturer.
The cat is engineered to extreme standards by High Modulus New Zealand, said the builder, and with engineering specifications of a working speed of 50kts, 2.5 G-force, and 500hp, it far exceeds the conditions that most boaters will experience and provides a huge safety margin for fast performance in rough conditions.
ArrowCatMarine said the ArrowCat 30 will impress boaters looking for a tough family cruiser with superior stability and sea handling along with accommodation unusual for a boat of this size.
