The new salt water resistant sound systems from Alpine will enable boaters to enjoy their favourite music whether relaxing in a quiet bay or towing a skier at top speed.
Alpine's new CDA-9886Mi marine head unit, priced at $699, has a diversity of the latest sound technology. The BioLite dual colour dial provides a visual interface and clear status of information and the units have a full speed connection for iPod with 'Quick Search' that provides very fast access to large music libraries.
But they are not only iPod friendly, the Alpine CDA-9886Mi includes playback of MP3, WMA and AAC files stored on CD or USB memory devices.
With a 200 watt output the marine system can be teamed with a range of Alpine components to provide the finesse needed for quiet classical passages to heart thumping hip-hop and rock. Extra speakers and amplifiers can be easily added to the systems as well.
Of course the Alpine marine systems have full radio capability so boaters can keep up to date with the latest weather information and news broadcasts.
