Cranchi, an Italian motor yacht boat brand known for building bike racks into its saloon rooftops, is set for an Australian debut after naming Melbourne’s t|d Terence Dean as its official dealer.
The Lake Como-based shipyard, which celebrates its 150th anniversary in January 2020, builds everything from a 25-foot dayboat up to what it says is a 78-foot “dream” cruiser.
Cranchi pushes the boundaries of design with its boats. Late last year it revealed a 36-foot, 36-knot concept coastal trawler that included a bike rack built into the saloon roof.
"We are very pleased to announce that t|d Terence Dean will be representing our interests and providing our Australian clients with support and service,” Cranchi chief executive Guido Cranchi said.

“We can clearly see that t|d Terence Dean shares our commitment to the Cranchi brand and our clients’ needs."
t|d Terence Dean co-founder Dean Jackson said the Docklands-based dealer was “really proud” to bring Cranchi vessels to Australia.
“t|d Terence Dean's partnership with Cranchi means that Australians will now have more choice in luxury boating.”
Buyers will have access to Cranchi's day boats, sports cruisers, flybridge hard-tops and trawler-style luxury motor yachts.
