Stabicraft has launched the Stabicraft 2350 Supercab, a new version of its cabin boat boasting almost half as much space again under its roof as the model it replaces.
Measuring 7.17 metres long, rated to 350hp and featuring a 6.0mm bottom and 4.0mm sides, the Stabicraft 2350 Supercab is the product of what the Invercargill, New Zealand-based chambered boat specialist says was a “ground-up redesign” that has built 40 percent more useable cabin space under the roof.
Adding to the real estate is a beam that now pushes out to 2.5 metres, the maximum unrestricted towing width for NZ, and Australian, roads. Making it all possible is what Stabicraft describes as a “reconfiguration of spacial priorities within the cabin” that have focussed on where owners and users spend most of their time.
“With more room comes more storage options, drink holders and underfloor storage and most importantly, more accommodation for friends and family,” Stabicraft said in a statement announcing the new model.
Key to the user-friendly design is an optional third berth that fits in between the two cabin benches.
While it remains a hardcore offshore-ready boat, the focus was also on comfort, with suspension seats sourced from Scandinavia, a drawer-style fridge, and a pie warmer all available to buyers.
Webbe Marine, a Sydney-based Stabicraft dealer, already has a version of the new 2350 Supercab Spirtfish priced at $199,990.
Specifications on that boat include a 250hp Yamaha F250 outboard engine with digital shift and throttle controls, a Yamaha CL5 digital gauge and hydraulic steering, and sitting on a Dunbier dual-axle wide frame Super Roller trailer with a spare wheel and heavy-duty boat catch.
The Stabicraft 2350 Supercab can enclose itself using a canvas drop curtain with a zip-open door.
Other features for the price include a 400-litre fuel tank; deck wash; Superfish transom box with live bait tank, storage drawer and sliding bait board; dual battery system; fold-up cabin seats; sliding cabin windows; fold-down transom seats; dual windscreen wipers and washer; six stainless steel rod holders; coloured LED deck lights; painted hull; GME marine radio; two-speaker Fusion audio system; twin USB outlets; offshore safety kit including an EPIRB, and 12 months of boat and trailer rego.
Engine choices include single 250hp, 300hp or 350hp outboards, or twin 150hp.
Webbe Marine will have the Stabicraft 2350 Supercab on display at August’s 2024 Sydney International Boat Show.
